Account Manager, Tech Start-Up

Job description

Salary: £25-£30K depending on experience.

Job purpose

Glassette is a new start-up in the tech space launching in October 2021. This platform is a thoughtful, well curated edit of the best homeware brands in the UK. Glassette isn’t just a marketplace, it's a way of life. We want customers to find a piece of joy in every purchase, we make the functional desirable; from interesting bedding, can’t-live-without baking trays and glassware that makes customers weak at the knees. We champion all of our vendors (who we call partners) through short films, sharing stories from the community of artisans and independent brands we are building.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the founding team of a homeware tech company start-up based in London. Our mission is to be THE destination to shop for homeware: it will be the platform that informs interior trends, seeks out new emerging artisans and homeware designers. Glassette will produce its own content, from editorials and advertorials; we will contextualise, spotlight and hero our brands through elevated storytelling verticals. Glassette has the coolest names and the cult buys, but we are not elitist or exclusionary, we are not about VIP’s or status, we are about community.

We are looking for an account manager to join the founding team, who will work closely with the two founders. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day communication with our brand partners, from contractual sign up to assisting with onboarding their products on to our market place. They will be creatively aligned with our brand values, ethos and have a creative eye across potential new partners opportunities. This person will also be responsible for the customer service with our customers and partners.

The candidate will be a motivated and highly organised, exceptional team player, with a keen eye for detail, creativity and the ability to manage (and complete) multiple tasks, simultaneously, to an exceptional standard.

This person will be responsible for keeping our mission statement at the forefront of the business; that Glassette is the destination to shop for homeware. This individual must be engaged, enthusiastic, have excellent communications skills and is invested in growing Glassette. They will have a drive to work collaboratively with the founders and be integral in the growth of the business

The individual must have a high level of communication skills and they will be key to the smooth running of the partnership side of the business
