Role
Insanity is looking for a full time individual to join its centralised Finance team, working across its operations, including its artist management division. The successful candidate will support Insanity’s in-house accountancy team with the primary responsibilities of raising invoices, allocating payments and credit control.
The role is focused on leading the invoicing and credit control for the group companies including the Los Angeles based office. The role will also support the finance manager with other adhoc tasks. The individual must be agreeable to working two - three days (each week) of a revised work pattern of 12pm - 8pm to cater for the time difference between London and Los Angeles.
It will require the successful applicant to develop systems and practices that support the existing team and improve efficiency. High levels of self-organisation are a must, together with the keenest attention to detail.

An essential position within this expanding company, the Finance Assistant will work in a supporting role and will report to the Finance Manager, a Chartered Accountant.
Essential tasks include being the main contact for invoicing and credit control together with undertaking administration and filing for the department. The Finance Assistant must be capable of stepping in to carry out essential functions in the event of colleagues’ absence and willing to support wider company operations where needed, for example in supporting with meetings and other operational arrangements. There is also scope for project management responsibilities such as implementing new systems etc.
Salary
£23,000 - £25,000 p.a. (depending on experience) + pension + health insurance + discretionary bonus of 0-5% of base salary

The role is usually carried out during normal business hours from the company’s head office situated within Sony Music Entertainment’s offices close to High Street Kensington. On occasion, the job may require evening or weekend work, remote working or work-related travel for new business opportunities.
The typical working day will be eight hours with an hour for lunch. Start time allows for flexibility within core business hours. May offer flexible working hours at the discretion of the Directors.
The role requires a person comfortable with overseeing transactions, positively challenging any concerns and coaching members of staff in respect of the transactional elements of their role (for example invoicing related matters, etc.). Direct reports may include apprentices, interns or work experience placements.
