Insanity Group is a rapidly growing media company operating in the music, broadcast, live and digital markets. Insanity represent top tier broadcast and music talent and operate a record label in partnership with Sony Music. ‘Brand Socials™’ is Insanity Talent Management’s newest division, primarily focusing on the significant opportunities currently available in respect of high profile, talent-led marketing on digital and non-linear platforms.

 

As part of the company’s deeper expansion into the digital market, Insanity are looking for an exceptional colleague to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking a leading role in respect of operations of the company’s ‘Brand Socials’ division together with sourcing brand opportunities for the company’s wider roster of high profile talent. The individual will be have the vision to ensure the department showcases the best administrative and reporting procedures and best practices to effectively grow the digital part of our business and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

 

The individual will be responsible obtaining and overseeing the acquisition of commercial partnerships in the digital market for the company’s slate of high-profile media personalities. Together with overseeing the procurement of talent for established brands to assist with their marketing strategy. This will involve procuring, managing and overseeing b2c and b2b partnerships.

 

The successful candidate will be an autonomous, exceptional senior team player with a drive to build out and manage operations with colleagues, while working collaboratively across other divisions of the business. Additional opportunities include working alongside the company’s strategic partners, Sony Music UK and Sony’s brand division ‘4th Floor Creative’ and to further nurture these relationships.

 

The Senior Brand Partnerships Manager will work closely alongside the senior management team and will add value to wider company operations where needed, for example in devising growth strategy for the businesses brand partnerships, with an emphasis on expansion within international markets.

Job requirements

Duties and responsibilities

  • Implementing and ensuring best practices across these areas of the company, including ensuring good internal communications and collaborative work amongst all talent and brand managers
  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth of our organisation
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance brands team, including providing mentoring to junior members of staff
  • Pitch talent for brand collaborations and procure those talent for campaigns
  • Secure brand partnerships for our existing roster of media and music talent clients
  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships and foster new relationships via your network of external business contacts
  • Drive business growth into new areas alongside a team of likeminded young executives
  • Identify key work tools and software which will enhance the ability of reporting and deep-dive data analytics and have a thorough understanding of how these tools may have a positive impact on our business
  • Proactively communicate with agency, media, digital and brand industries to procure opportunities for the Brand Socials™ division, seeking opportunities to source and supply talent for national and global marketing campaigns
  • Secure, manage and oversee b2c and b2b partnerships

Specifications

  • Undergraduate Degree (preferably at 2:1 or above)
  • 7+ years of experience in a role encompassing both b2c and b2b
  • Demonstrate and expert knowledge of both the broader entertainment talent and digital influencer landscape
  • Demonstrable experience of fostering and maintaining relationships with clients and organisational stakeholders
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Outstanding organisational and leadership skills
  • Proven experience of successfully managing operations for a team of brand / talent managers
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Proficient understanding of MS-office, especially PowerPoint & Excel
  • Experience in using G Suite, file sharing and management tools
  • High aptitude in strategic thinking, decision-making and problem-solving
  • Driven by results
  • Excellent negotiation skills, coupled with proficient influencing skills
  • Thrive under pressure, remain calm in situations of contention, project a pro-social & professional image at all times and lead by example, with an ability to effectively manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Must demonstrate a strong network of contacts at interview stage, who hold decision-making responsibilities for strategic marketing partnerships within the media, entertainment, brand, and agency industries
  • An experienced and efficient leader with excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics, with professional references to support these skills

Working conditions

The role is usually carried out during normal business hours from the company’s head office situated within Sony Music Entertainment’s offices close to High Street Kensington. On occasion, the job may require evening or weekend work, remote working or work-related travel for new business opportunities.

 

The typical working day will be eight hours with an hour for lunch. Start time allows for flexibility within core business hours. May offer flexible working hours on an ad-hoc pre-approved basis at the discretion of the Directors.

 

The job may involve working with challenging stakeholders or clients, from time to time.
